We're the Menters and this is our little home on the internet where we document all of our travels and the things we want to remember about this time in our lives. Here is a little background on us!
This is Blake - he's 27. He loves food, the outdoors, working on his fitness and food.
This is Britney - she's 25. She loves art, dogs, friends reruns and tacos.
This is Teddi May - she's three and 3/4 and the sweetest girl you'll ever meet - unless you're another dog and then we'll see..
And last but super not least is Huckleberry - he's 2 and youngest and moodiest member of our family.
We started dreaming of full time van life when we bought a 1980 Westfalia before our wedding. We road tripped around Colorado and Utah for our honeymoon and despite some serious mechanical issues we fell in love with the lifestyle. Our van went to live with someone else but our desire to travel took over. This year we got serious and started getting ready to leave our current lives and hit the road.
We purchased a more reliable (although not as cool) larger van for ourselves and slowly but surely figured out what to do with all of the stuff we have accumulated in such a short time.
We want to use this blog as a detailed journal of this time. It's not often we get the courage to flip our lives upside down and we're really excited to see where it leads us.
